Lead Product Marketer

About the role

Nextrade is a Nigeria-focused digital finance platform that lets users buy and sell cryptocurrency with Naira, convert gift cards to instant cash and pay everyday bills through one secure mobile app. The Lead Product Marketer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, with flexibility for partial work from home. The role defines product positioning and messaging, shapes go-to-market strategies and drives adoption and engagement across crypto trading, gift card conversion and bill payments.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with product management to understand user needs and turn insights into compelling value propositions
• Plan integrated campaigns across digital channels
• Analyze performance data and optimize marketing funnels
• Partner with sales to develop enablement materials that support revenue growth
• Work with cross-functional teams to keep brand communication consistent and the user experience centred on the customer

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in fintech or crypto products, especially in the Nigerian market, is highly beneficial
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and manage several initiatives at once

Required skills

• Marketing analytics: tracking performance, interpreting data and informing product and campaign decisions
• Go-to-market strategy: planning launches, defining target segments and running integrated campaigns
• Product management awareness: understanding user journeys, prioritizing features and aligning marketing with product roadmaps
• Sales collaboration: creating enablement assets and supporting pipeline growth
• Digital marketing channels, A/B testing and marketing automation tools are an advantage
