About the role
The Laundry Attendant is responsible for handling all laundry operations for guests and staff, ensuring items are cleaned, pressed, and delivered to the appropriate locations.
Key responsibilities
- Receive, sort, and classify laundry items by colour, fabric type and cleaning requirements.
- Operate washing machines, dryers, irons, steamers and other equipment safely.
- Remove stains, dry, iron, fold and package items according to standards.
- Inspect cleaned items for stains, odours or damage and report issues.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry room and monitor supply levels.
Required profile
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar laundry role.
Required skills
- Operation of commercial laundry equipment (washers, dryers, irons, steamers).
- Knowledge of stain removal techniques and proper handling of cleaning chemicals.
