About the role

A finance team is looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to help maintain accurate financial records, prepare reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. The role suits a recent graduate or early-career professional.

Key responsibilities

Manage day-to-day bookkeeping.
Conduct bank and ledger reconciliations.
Ensure compliance with Nigerian statutory taxes such as VAT, WHT, PAYE and pensions.
Support senior accountants with inventory tracking and fixed asset management.
Assist with month-end audit preparations.

Required profile

HND in Accounting.
NYSC discharge certificate or a formal letter of exemption.
