IT Technical Officer

About the role

The IT Technical Officer will provide comprehensive technical support across software, database, network, and systems environments. You will work closely with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operation of IT services in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support for software and database issues, including troubleshooting and resolution.
• Utilise advanced Excel for data analysis, reporting and documentation of support processes.
• Configure, deploy and maintain routers, switches, wireless access points, VLANs and VPNs; monitor network performance and resolve outages.
• Administer Windows‑based servers, endpoints, user accounts, permissions, shared folders, printers and storage systems.
• Monitor server health, backup systems, patch management and endpoint security; support disaster recovery activities.
• Manage HIMS/EMR application environment – user accounts, roles, permissions, module configuration and first/second‑line support.
• Document network diagrams, IP allocations and infrastructure changes; ensure compliance with security controls.

Required profile

• Mid‑level professional with at least 36 months of relevant experience.
• Ability to adapt to a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
