IT Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT Specialist to deliver hands‑on support for desktops, laptops, printers, network devices and CCTV infrastructure across our manufacturing site in Abeokuta, Ogun State. The role involves diagnosing hardware faults, maintaining surveillance systems and ensuring reliable network connectivity for all users.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on‑site support for desktops, laptops, printers, monitors and other peripherals, including hardware diagnostics and component replacement.
• Manage and maintain CCTV and IP surveillance equipment (cameras, NVR/DVR, storage) and perform routine health checks.
• Support LAN, Wi‑Fi, structured cabling and network troubleshooting, deploying equipment and optimizing connectivity.
• Oversee installations, commissioning and testing of infrastructure and surveillance systems, supervising vendors and contractors.
• Maintain spare‑parts inventory, track warranty claims and coordinate repairs with OEM support channels.
• Keep accurate IT asset registers, documentation and maintenance records, and report on system uptime and issue resolution.

Required profile

• 4‑6 years of proven hands‑on IT support, hardware repair and infrastructure maintenance experience.
• B.Sc. or HND in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, IT or a related field.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair PCs, laptops, printers and monitors.
• Experience managing IP‑based CCTV systems, NVR/DVR solutions and security monitoring infrastructure.
• Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN networks, Wi‑Fi environments and structured cabling.
• Willingness to work fully on‑site in Ogun State, with occasional after‑hours work for installations.
