IT Support Officer

About the role

The IT Support Officer will be the first point of contact for all technology‑related issues at the resort. You will ensure that hardware, software, network and hospitality systems run smoothly, providing timely assistance to staff and guests.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network, printer, email and connectivity problems; log and track tickets.
• Install, configure, maintain and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, scanners and other equipment.
• Maintain operating systems and business applications, applying updates and security patches.
• Monitor and manage LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers and access points; support network upgrades and troubleshoot outages.
• Provide technical support for the Property Management System (PMS), Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and payment terminals.
• Implement antivirus, endpoint protection and data‑backup solutions; assist with disaster‑recovery procedures.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, keep an accurate IT asset inventory and produce regular support reports.
• Liaise with external vendors, ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards.

Required profile

• Entry‑level qualification with at least 24 months of relevant experience.
• Strong problem‑solving attitude and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills for assisting non‑technical staff.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers, scanners).
• Software installation, configuration and patch management.
• Network administration – LAN, Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access points.
• Experience with Property Management System (PMS) and Point‑of‑Sale (POS) applications.
• Antivirus and endpoint protection tools.
