IT Asset Management Software Trainer (Snipe-IT)

About the role

KadMap Systems Limited is looking for a contract IT Asset Management Software Trainer in Abuja. The trainer teaches clients how to use the assigned IT asset management software to track and manage their IT assets. The engagement is a 12-month contract and focuses only on teaching; coding, software development, technical integration and hardware repairs are not required.

Key responsibilities

• Train clients on how to use the assigned IT asset management software.
• Demonstrate asset registration, tracking, assignment, check-in/check-out and reporting where supported.
• Explain how users maintain asset records and manage routine asset-related activities.
• Guide participants through practical asset management scenarios.
• Prepare user guides, step-by-step instructions and training exercises.
• Explain features and reports in clear, accessible language and answer questions about everyday use.
• Assess participants' understanding and identify areas needing further training.

Required profile

• Demonstrable experience using Snipe-IT.
• Good understanding of IT inventory, asset tracking and asset administration.
• Ability to demonstrate application features and explain workflows clearly.
• Strong communication, presentation and teaching skills.
• Ability to prepare practical training materials.
• Experience in IT asset management, inventory control or IT operations is desirable.
