Digital Imaging Specialist (3-Month Contract)

About the role

Tecres Technologies Nigeria Limited, a document management company offering ECM, EDMS, BPM solutions and bulk document scanning, is hiring a Document Imaging Specialist. This is a 3-month contract, full-time, on-site role based in Lagos. The specialist prepares materials for scanning, operates imaging and scanning equipment, and edits, retouches and optimizes images.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare physical and digital materials for scanning and operate imaging and scanning equipment
• Edit, retouch and optimize images to high quality
• Ensure accurate digitization, file naming, indexing and secure storage of documents according to company standards and client requirements
• Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and troubleshoot imaging issues
• Maintain equipment to ensure consistent output
• Interact with clients and internal stakeholders to clarify requirements and support project delivery

Required profile

• Strong digital imaging skills, including image editing for high-quality document and photo output
• Proficiency in photo retouching to improve clarity, readability and visual quality of scanned images
• Customer service and sales skills to communicate with clients and understand project needs
• Experience with document scanning equipment, imaging software and basic troubleshooting of hardware and software issues
• Attention to detail, strong organizational skills and ability to follow structured workflows and quality standards
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos, manage time effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• A relevant certification or diploma in imaging, graphics, IT or a related field is an advantage; prior experience in document management or related industries is beneficial
