About the role
Skyline International Tourism and Hospitality Ltd is seeking a proactive IT Administrator to manage and support the ICT infrastructure for its university and hospitality operations in Gwarimpa, Abuja. The role ensures that all technology resources run smoothly, providing reliable service to staff, students, and faculty.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain and monitor all equipment in the data centre and satellite locations.
- Provide technical assistance to clerical, administrative staff, students and faculty.
- Install, configure, and repair servers, computers, projectors, and classroom equipment.
- Manage file and student servers, perform regular backups, and enforce data‑security policies.
- Register new staff for biometric systems and oversee CCTV installations.
- Coordinate with the IT Consultant and report to the Head of Computing Department.
Required profile
- Analytical thinking with ability to develop and apply IT policies.
- Strong communication and relationship‑management skills.
- Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
- Ability to work independently and support a diverse user base.
Required skills
- Server administration and hardware maintenance.
- Network management and firewall configuration (Cyberoam, Sonicwall).
- Antivirus management for servers and desktops.
- Biometrics system administration.
- CCTV system maintenance.
- Data backup and recovery procedures.
- Proficiency in MS Office.
What we offer
- Competitive salary ranging from N300,000 to N500,000 per month.
