Internal Control & Risk Specialist

About the role

The Internal Control & Risk Specialist will strengthen our internal control framework and support enterprise risk management across the travel business. You will work closely with senior management to ensure controls are effective, risks are monitored, and operational resilience is maintained.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal control documentation, process maps, SOPs and Risk & Control Matrices, and assess the design and effectiveness of existing controls.
• Support enterprise risk management by facilitating risk identification sessions, maintaining the risk register, tracking KRIs and reporting emerging risk trends.
• Monitor operational and fraud risk indicators, investigate incidents, and prepare regular dashboards and reports for management.
• Assist internal and external audit processes by coordinating documentation and responding to audit queries.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in internal control, risk management, or audit.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, economics or a related field.
• Experience in the travel, hospitality or services sector is preferred.
• Exposure to fraud risk monitoring and work in a regulated or compliance environment.

Required skills

• Process mapping and risk assessment techniques.
• Creation of management dashboards and Key Risk Indicator (KRI) reporting.
• Use of ERM software or GRC tools.
