Insurance Unit Manager – Lead a High‑Performing Sales Team

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Insurance Unit Manager to build, drive, and inspire a high‑performing team of licensed Sales Advisors. In this full‑time hybrid position you will expand our market footprint, grow revenue, and implement strategic retail sales frameworks for life and investment insurance portfolios.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, onboard and develop a vibrant team of Financial Advisors/Sales Executives.
• Train and support the team in prospecting, delivering presentations, closing deals and managing client relationships.
• Set performance targets, monitor weekly/monthly sales metrics and drive productivity to meet unit goals.
• Identify new business segments, corporate accounts and high‑net‑worth opportunities to expand the retail footprint.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks and internal policies, and prepare regular performance reports.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience in insurance sales.
• Exceptional leadership, networking and relationship‑management abilities.
• Target‑driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
• Deep understanding of retail life insurance and annuity products.
• Professional insurance qualification (e.g., CIIN) or an existing portfolio/team of sales agents is a major advantage.
