Insurance Marketing Specialist

About the role

The Insurance Marketing Specialist will blend traditional networking with modern digital tactics to drive qualified leads for our insurance portfolio. You will work closely with sales, creative, and community partners to raise brand awareness across Port Harcourt and the wider Rivers State region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute multi‑channel marketing campaigns (digital, print, email, social) to generate leads.
• Analyse industry trends, competitor offerings and customer demographics to uncover new market opportunities.
• Collaborate with creative teams to produce brochures, newsletters, blog posts and social content that simplify insurance concepts.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with local businesses, real estate agents, financial planners and community organisations.
• Organise and represent the firm at community events, trade shows, seminars and webinars.
• Monitor, analyse and report on campaign ROI using CRM and analytics tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 3 years of marketing, lead generation or sales experience, preferably in insurance, finance or banking.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication with strong persuasion skills.
• Self‑motivated, fast‑paced work style and ability to take ownership of projects.
• Relationship‑driven with a natural ability to build trust across diverse groups.
• Analytical mindset to interpret campaign data and adjust strategies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce or HubSpot.
• Experience using email marketing tools like Mailchimp.
• Familiarity with social media management tools.
