Content Writer

About the role

We are looking for a creative Content Writer to produce high‑quality written material for a variety of digital and print platforms. The role involves researching, writing, editing and optimizing content to engage target audiences and support our marketing initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Research, write, edit and proofread website copy, blog posts, articles, newsletters, social media updates and marketing collateral.
• Develop content calendars and ensure timely delivery of all assignments.
• Collaborate with marketing, creative and design teams to shape content strategies and campaigns.
• Write persuasive copy for advertisements, email campaigns, product descriptions and promotional materials.
• Adapt tone and style to match different audiences, platforms and brand guidelines.
• Optimize content for SEO using relevant keywords and best practices.
• Review and improve existing content for clarity, accuracy and engagement.
• Monitor content performance and suggest improvements based on audience metrics.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging formats and current topics.

Required profile

• Minimum OND in English, Mass Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Up to 24 months of proven experience in content writing, copywriting, journalism or digital marketing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong grammar, spelling and proofreading abilities.
• Strong research and information‑gathering skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight deadlines and work both independently and within a team.
• Portfolio of published articles, blog posts or other writing samples is an advantage.

Required skills

• SEO knowledge and digital content writing.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Google Docs.
