Innovation and Strategic Development Lead

About the role

Wesnovel Educational Consulting, a certified study abroad agency supporting learners across the United Kingdom, Ireland, Malta and Hungary, is hiring a full-time, on-site Innovation and Strategic Development Lead in Lagos. The role drives new initiatives and long-term growth strategies by analysing market trends in international education, spotting partnership and program opportunities, and building data-informed strategies to expand the company's reach in Europe-focused study abroad services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse market trends in international education and identify new partnership and program opportunities.
• Develop data-informed strategies to expand the company's reach in Europe-focused study abroad services.
• Collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to design and refine service offerings, optimise processes and support sales and marketing initiatives.
• Prepare strategic reports and evaluate financial and operational performance.
• Coordinate with client-facing teams to improve service delivery.
• Contribute to business development with schools and institutions abroad, communicate regularly with stakeholders and run structured planning sessions.
• Implement innovation frameworks to ensure sustainable growth.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Education, Management or a related field; advanced degrees or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Experience in sales and business development, preferably in educational services or related consulting.
• Basic to intermediate finance skills, including budgeting, forecasting and evaluating the financial viability of strategic projects.
• Background or strong interest in international education, study abroad programs or global mobility services.
• Ability to work on-site in Lagos, manage multiple priorities and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
