About the role
The Danish Refugee Council is seeking an Information Management (IM) Specialist to support its multi‑sectoral humanitarian response in Nigeria. Based in Abuja, the specialist will work under the Head of Program to ensure that data collection, analysis and reporting meet the needs of programme teams and donors.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate the collection, validation and storage of programme data across sectors.
- Produce regular and ad‑hoc analytical reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and update the IM database and ensure data quality standards are applied.
- Support field teams with data collection tools and provide training on IM procedures.
- Contribute to the development of information management policies and standard operating procedures.
Required profile
- University degree in Information Management, Data Science, Social Sciences or related field.
- At least 2‑4 years of experience in data management or monitoring and evaluation within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
