Inbound Team Lead (Full Time)

About the role

The Inbound Team Lead will supervise and guide a team of inbound operators, ensuring the efficient, accurate receipt, inspection, and storage of incoming goods. This role coordinates with purchasing, inventory management and operations teams to keep the inbound flow smooth and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coach inbound operators, providing guidance on processes and safety.
• Oversee receiving activities: verify quantities, inspect items for damage, and record data in inventory systems.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to prioritize shipments, resolve discrepancies and manage returns.
• Assign tasks, monitor workload distribution and enforce standard operating procedures.
• Train new staff on inbound processes, equipment use and safety protocols.
• Monitor productivity, identify improvement opportunities and implement efficiency measures.
• Conduct regular inspections of inbound areas and equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and cleanliness standards.
• Provide performance feedback, conduct evaluations and recognize achievements.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead and develop a team in a warehouse or logistics environment.
• Strong attention to detail for accurate verification and documentation of shipments.
• Good organizational skills to manage workload and enforce SOPs.
• Commitment to safety standards and ability to address hazards promptly.
• Effective communication skills for coordination with multiple departments.
