HVAC Technician – VRV/VRF Systems

About the role

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to install, commission and maintain VRV/VRF cooling systems for our projects in Lagos. The role involves diagnosing faults, performing repairs and ensuring optimal performance of HVAC equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Install, commission and maintain VRV/VRF HVAC systems.
• Diagnose system faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance and refrigerant charging, leak and pressure testing.
• Test and monitor electrical controls, airflow and refrigerant levels.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams and clients to ensure smooth execution.

Required profile

• Diploma or certification in HVAC, Refrigeration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience with VRV/VRF systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC controls, diagnostics and safety regulations.
• Ability to read technical manuals and electrical schematics.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• VRV/VRF system installation and commissioning
• HVAC system diagnostics and troubleshooting
• Refrigerant charging, leak testing and pressure testing
• Electrical control and airflow measurement
• Reading technical drawings and schematics
• Experience with Daikin, LG, Samsung and Mitsubishi Electric equipment
• Relevant HVAC certification or licensing (advantageous)
