Human Resource Generalist Coordinator

About the role

EHA Clinics, a comprehensive healthcare service provider in Nigeria, is hiring a Human Resource Generalist Coordinator in Abuja. Reporting to the Assistant Manager, People and Culture, the role is the operational backbone of the HR function: it combines front-line people support with administrative precision, covering the HR helpdesk, documentation, engagement, payroll and benefits, and probation and confirmation processes.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager HR inquiries on policies, benefits, payroll and workplace matters, resolving routine issues and escalating complex ones.
• Maintain accurate HR data and documentation, safeguarding confidentiality and supporting compliance and audit readiness.
• Run the eNPS survey end to end and drive engagement through wellness programs, recognition and team-building events.
• Manage the employee lifecycle: onboarding, benefits enrollment and renewals, and probation tracking, including confirmation letters and updates in the HRIS.
• Provide dashboards, analytics and reports to HR leadership and managers.

Required profile

• 2-4 years of progressive HR experience in a generalist or coordinator role.
• Experience with at least three of: HR helpdesk, payroll administration, benefits coordination, HR documentation and compliance, engagement surveys or HR reporting.
• Proven track record managing probation and confirmation processes.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (BambooHR, Workday, SAP or similar) and payroll systems.
