HR & Workforce Manager

About the role

Fichaya is looking for an HR & Workforce Manager to own the people side of its frontline and internal workforce. You will oversee the full employee lifecycle for cleaners, quality assurance staff, and office personnel while directly managing the QA team.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate employee records for field and internal staff.
• Manage onboarding paperwork, contracts, and induction processes.
• Track attendance, compliance, and flag concerns to managers.
• Handle grievances, disciplinary actions, and performance issues.
• Directly line‑manage the QA team, including reviews and development.
• Administer staff welfare initiatives such as transport subsidies and engagement activities.
• Oversee contracts, leave requests, off‑boarding, and payroll coordination.
• Ensure compliance with Nigerian labour law and statutory requirements.
• Run quarterly KPI reviews and support culture‑building initiatives.
• Produce monthly workforce reports covering headcount, attendance, disciplinary cases, and turnover.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• 3–5+ years of HR or workforce management experience, preferably in a service or field‑staff‑heavy environment.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour law and statutory compliance.
• Proven ability to manage a large, dispersed frontline workforce.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
