HR Operations Officer – Lagos

About the role

We are looking for an HR Operations Officer to join AAVA Brands Limited in Lagos. AAVA Brands, part of the Chanrai Summit Group and now under the umbrella of DP World, supplies branded food, beverages and fast‑moving consumer goods across Nigeria. The role will support the implementation of HR initiatives and manage day‑to‑day HR operations, ensuring smooth recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance processes. The officer will work closely with HR Business Partners and senior management to align HR processes with business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment, selection and onboarding activities for new hires.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.
• Support performance management cycles and employee development initiatives.
• Assist with employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures.
• Prepare regular HR reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Drive employee engagement and welfare programmes.
• Manage employee lifecycle events such as confirmations, transfers and exits.
• Facilitate employee training sessions and monitor HR metrics.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of HR policies and procedures.
