HR Manager – Healthcare Workforce

About the role

We are looking for an experienced HR Manager to lead HR operations for a diverse healthcare workforce. The role involves overseeing recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration to support the organization’s goals.

Key responsibilities

• Recruiting and staffing across multiple professional groups
• Implementing performance management and improvement tracking systems
• Managing employee orientation and onboarding processes
• Coordinating staff training and development initiatives
• Administering compensation, benefits, and related record‑keeping
• Maintaining employee files and the HR filing system
• Participating in the development of departmental goals, objectives, and systems
• Handling staff grievances, complaints, sanctions, and disciplinary actions

Required profile

• Minimum of 3 years solid experience in core HR functions
• Proven experience managing a diverse, multi‑skilled workforce
• HND or Bachelor’s degree in a Social Science discipline
• Experience in the service industry or healthcare sector
• Strong knowledge of recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and HR administration
• Experience overseeing administrative functions and managing outsourced staff
• Good understanding of employment and labour laws
• Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills with a high level of confidentiality
