HR Business Partner

About the role

The HR Business Partner will work closely with management to align human resources strategies with business objectives, ensuring effective recruitment, employee development and compliance across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with management to align HR strategies with business objectives.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and employee development.
• Maintain accurate employee records, monitor attendance, leave and disciplinary matters.
• Support performance management, appraisals and employee development initiatives.
• Coordinate payroll, ensuring accurate and timely salary processing.
• Manage statutory requirements such as Pension, NSITF, ITF and PAYE.
• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and people‑focused initiatives.
• Monitor employee engagement, retention and workplace culture.

Required profile

• HND in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Relations or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of employee relations, performance management, recruitment and HR policies.
• Ability to handle confidential information and work under pressure.

Required skills

• Proficiency in HR software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
