HR Officer

About the role

We are looking for a proactive HR Officer to join FactBase Consulting Limited in Abeokuta. The role will support all core HR functions, ensuring smooth workforce management, recruitment, onboarding and compliance within the retail, fashion and FMCG sectors. You will act as a key point of contact for employees and help maintain a positive workplace culture.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee workforce planning, recruitment processes and effective onboarding of new staff.
• Provide payroll assistance, maintain accurate employee records and ensure timely processing.
• Monitor labor law compliance, promote staff welfare and handle related queries.
• Manage employee and industrial relations, addressing concerns and facilitating communication.
• Support general HR operations, including policy implementation and administrative tasks.

Required profile

• B.Sc. or HND in Industrial Relations, Sociology, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline.
• Minimum two years of experience performing similar HR duties.
• Professional certification such as CIPM is an added advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
