Live-Out Cook

About the role

H-Ville Consultancy is hiring a live-out cook in Abuja, Marina. The cook prepares meals for a household, following its preferences and keeping the kitchen clean and hygienic.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of Nigerian and continental dishes according to the household's preferences.
• Plan daily menus and suggest meal options for variety and balanced nutrition.
• Prepare meals on time, with high standards of taste, quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen; clean equipment, utensils and work surfaces after cooking.
• Store and handle food properly to keep it fresh, monitor supplies and minimise waste.
• Follow food safety and hygiene practices and accommodate reasonable dietary needs.
• Show professionalism, discretion and respect for household privacy, and carry out other kitchen duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a cook in a private household, restaurant, hotel or similar setting.
• Excellent cooking skills in Nigerian and continental cuisines.
• Willingness to work as a live-out cook in Abuja.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of food hygiene, safety and proper food storage.
• Strong organisation and time management, and ability to plan menus and manage ingredients.
• Attention to detail in preparation and presentation.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions and communicate well.
