About the role
E-Direct is hiring a full-time Cook for its hotel restaurant in Ibadan, Oyo State. The cook prepares meals according to the hotel's menu and standards, keeping the kitchen clean and safe.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to the hotel's menu and standards.
- Ensure proper food handling, storage and hygiene.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen.
- Monitor food supplies and report shortages to management.
- Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
- Minimise food wastage and maintain quality standards.
- Comply with all kitchen safety and sanitation procedures.
Required profile
- Previous experience as a Cook in a hotel restaurant or similar establishment.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
- Culinary training or certification is an added advantage.
