About the role
The Cashier will be the first point of contact for clients at a busy unisex salon in Ibadan, handling all payment transactions and supporting front‑desk operations.
Key responsibilities
- Receive payments, issue receipts and manage cash, POS and other payment methods accurately.
- Balance daily sales, prepare basic transaction reports and keep the cash desk organized and secure.
- Greet clients, answer basic service and price inquiries, and coordinate with stylists to ensure smooth client flow.
- Support appointment scheduling and maintain cleanliness around the front‑desk area.
Required profile
- Strong cash‑handling and POS operation skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service attitude, friendly and professional demeanor.
- Previous experience as a cashier, front‑desk officer or similar role, preferably in retail, hospitality or salon settings.
- Reliability, honesty and flexibility to work weekends as needed.

- Point‑of‑sale (POS) systems.
- Basic digital tools such as spreadsheets or salon management software.
