Hotel Manager - 3-Star Hotel (Live-In)

About the role

A 52-room 3-star hotel in Ikotun-Egbe, Lagos, is looking for an experienced, mature Hotel Manager to run the property's daily operations. Reporting to the Deputy Managing Director, the role covers full operational, commercial and financial accountability, including Front Office, Bookings, Main Kitchen, Restaurant, Pool Bar, Swimming Pool, Laundry and Gym. It is a hands-on, live-in position with a 6-day work week (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, with flexibility for 24/7 hospitality needs).

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations across rooms, food and beverage outlets, laundry and leisure facilities, enforce SOPs and conduct daily property inspections.
• Manage guest experience, handle escalations and VIPs, review guest feedback and implement retention strategies.
• Monitor daily receipts, room occupancy, ADR and RevPAR, approve discounts and refunds, and control OPEX, energy use and inventory.
• Supervise restaurant, kitchen and pool bar operations, portion control, menu planning and food hygiene.
• Drive local sales and marketing, attract corporate and private clients, and monetize gym and pool access.
• Lead and coach supervisory staff, manage rosters and leave, and run performance appraisals and training.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (B.Sc / B.A.) or HND in hospitality, hotel and restaurant management or business administration; alternatively a hotel management diploma/certificate or a Master's/MBA in international hotel management with practical experience.
• At least 5 years of hands-on hospitality operations management, including 3-5 years in a 3-star hotel with 50+ rooms and F&B and leisure amenities.
• Proven track record in operations, sales growth, team leadership, guest satisfaction and cost control.
• Minimum age 37-40, male, fluent professional English, and must live on-site in the provided accommodation.

Required skills

• Operational expertise across Front Office, F&B, Housekeeping, Maintenance and Security.
• Proficiency in Property Management Systems (PMS), online booking engines and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

What we offer

• Net monthly base salary of N400,000 to N600,000.
