Home Broadband Manager

About the role

The Home Broadband Manager leads a team of third‑party canvassers and Direct Sales Agencies (DSAs) to drive Airtel broadband sales across key cities. The role focuses on increasing Average Revenue Per User (ARPU), expanding the customer base, and ensuring channel development and process compliance for effective acquisition and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Win in the Home Broadband segment within key cities by creating awareness, education, trial, conversion and regular usage of Airtel broadband products.
• Identify and execute quality acquisition opportunities using all customer‑facing staff and channels.
• Exceed data and device revenue targets.
• Lead, develop and motivate a results‑driven team of canvassers.
• Onboard, grow and manage profitable DSAs across residential estates, HORECA outlets, corporate offices and higher education institutions.
• Build strategic partnerships through event sponsorships targeting high‑net‑worth audiences.
• Ensure installation SLAs, stock and recharge availability, and manage forecasts and market projections.
• Maintain up‑to‑date scorecards, gap analysis and timely reporting of initiatives and challenges.
• Stay knowledgeable of Airtel products and monitor competitor activities (WiMAX, Mesh, WiFi, VoIP, etc.) to recommend counter‑measures.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading a motivated, results‑driven sales team.
• Strong understanding of broadband products and channel sales.
• Ability to develop and manage partnerships with DSAs and event sponsors.
