Senior AI Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior AI Engineer to design, develop, and deploy AI‑driven solutions that optimise telecom networks, enhance customer experience and improve operational efficiency. You will collaborate with network engineers, data scientists and software developers to apply machine learning to real‑world telecommunications challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AI/ML algorithms for network optimisation, predictive maintenance, fraud detection, call‑quality analysis and customer‑behaviour modelling.
• Develop scalable software that integrates AI models into telecom platforms and operational systems.
• Analyse large volumes of telecom data such as call records, network logs and traffic patterns to extract actionable insights.
• Work with network engineering teams to improve performance and reliability using AI‑driven analytics.
• Optimise models for real‑time performance, efficiency and accuracy, and support testing, deployment and monitoring in production.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications or a related field.
• Strong programming experience in Python, C++, Java or Scala.
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit‑learn or Keras.
• Familiarity with telecom‑specific data (CDRs, signalling logs, network KPIs) and network protocols (SIP, VoIP, LTE/5G, TCP/IP).
• Experience deploying models on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and knowledge of MLOps or model‑monitoring pipelines.
