Head of School Operations, Strategy & HR

About the role

MOD Arts Academy (Lekki, Lagos) is looking for a Head of School Operations, Strategy & HR to act as its main operational execution engine and commercial growth leader. Reporting directly to the Executive Directorship, the role covers operational, administrative and strategic oversight of the academy, the MOD Arts Orchestra and expanding business units, including the operational launch of new subsidiaries.

Key responsibilities

• Refine and strengthen end-to-end HR frameworks, performance management models, corporate governance protocols and digital management systems (ERPs, HR platforms)
• Drive growth across all revenue streams: direct student enrollment, B2B school partnerships, subsidiary monetization and market expansion
• Provide hands-on operational execution for new business units, setting up SOPs and structural frameworks until they are handed over to dedicated management
• Chair operational alignment meetings, oversee centralized digital student and parent record systems, maintain elite service standards and drive proactive student retention

Required profile

• Solid background in HR (process design, performance management, policy enforcement) combined with strong operational leadership
• Proven track record as a commercial growth leader with expertise in B2B partnerships, multi-channel marketing and revenue expansion
• Ability to project-manage and execute new business initiatives or subsidiary rollouts
• Exceptional leadership, strategic foresight and executive communication skills

The position is based in Osapa London, Lekki, Lagos, on a full-time schedule of 6 days per week (5 days on-site, 1 day off-site).
