Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager is a full‑time, hybrid role based in Lekki, with flexibility for some work from home. The position oversees end‑to‑end HR operations—including recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations—to support TecPal’s rapidly growing team.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leadership on workforce planning and talent strategy.
• Manage HR data, reporting and HRIS administration.
• Coordinate training and development programmes and workshops.
• Administer compensation, benefits and payroll processes.
• Design, implement and maintain HR policies ensuring compliance with labour regulations.
• Provide proactive support to managers and employees throughout HR processes.
• Promote TecPal’s values and inclusive culture across campuses and remote teams.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee relations.
• Experience developing HR policies, ensuring legal compliance and preparing HR documentation and reports.
• Ability to design and deliver training, career‑growth initiatives and learning programmes.
• Strong communication, conflict‑resolution and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Solid organizational and analytical abilities, including HRIS usage and HR metrics analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or related field; professional HR certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM) is a plus.
• Experience in fast‑growing tech or education organisations, preferably in Africa, with a commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.
