Head of Sales

About the role

The Head of Sales will lead ORC Capital Limited’s sales function in Lagos, driving revenue growth for its investment management business. This full‑time, on‑site position requires a hands‑on leader who can build high‑performing teams, nurture client relationships, and identify new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with the firm’s growth objectives.
• Set performance targets, monitor the sales pipeline, and deliver regular sales reports.
• Oversee account management, maintaining strong relationships with key clients.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the investment management space.
• Guide, mentor, and coach the sales team to achieve targets.
• Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align offerings with market needs.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding revenue targets within financial services or related industries.
• Extensive account management experience with long‑term client relationship building.
• Advanced analytical ability to interpret market data and client portfolios.
• Proven team‑management skills, including coaching and performance management.
• Experience in investment or asset management with solid knowledge of investment products.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics or related field; postgraduate degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, MBA) is a plus.
