About the role
The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a senior professional to lead the Resources Management function of its Country Office in Nigeria. Reporting to the Chief of Mission, the Head of Resources Management will ensure the effective delivery of finance, human resources, procurement, logistics and administrative services.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise treasury operations, cash‑flow forecasting, budget control and payroll allocations.
- Review and finalize donor financial reports in line with IOM regulations, IPSAS standards and SAP workflows.
- Oversee recruitment, personnel administration and HR policy enforcement, handling complex personnel cases.
- Manage procurement contracts, supplier agreements, logistics, vehicle fleet operations and facility maintenance.
- Act as Officer‑in‑Charge in the Chief of Mission’s absence and represent IOM in UN Operations Management Team working groups.
Required profile
- Master’s degree with at least 7 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 9 years.
- Proven experience across finance, accounting, budgeting, HR, procurement, logistics and ERP systems.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
Required skills
- SAP proficiency.
- Experience with ERP systems.
- Knowledge of IPSAS standards.
- Financial reporting and budgeting.
- Procurement and logistics management.
