Head of Marketing, Sales & Social Media

About the role

An early‑stage Nigerian EdTech company is seeking a senior leader to act as the commercial engine, shaping brand identity, driving B2B and B2C acquisition, and managing all social and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand strategy, GTM campaigns and content that resonate with schools, parents and students.
• Build and manage B2B partnership pipelines and B2C user‑acquisition efforts, recruiting and leading a sales team.
• Oversee social media channels (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp) and run performance‑marketing campaigns to lower CAC.
• Act as product ambassador, delivering demos, aligning commercial timelines with product releases and feeding market feedback to the product team.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑stack commercial experience in marketing, sales and digital growth, preferably in EdTech or high‑growth African startups.
• Proven track record of building sales funnels, closing B2B deals and managing sales representatives.
• Hands‑on execution mindset – able to write ad copy, host demos and run outreach campaigns.
• Good understanding of the Nigerian secondary‑school ecosystem and parental decision‑making.
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Data‑driven approach using analytics tools to track leads, conversions and ROI.
