Head of Human Resources / Executive Assistant

About the role

The role combines senior executive support with leadership of the Human Resources function for a fast‑paced stockbroking firm. You will work directly with the senior executive to ensure smooth daily operations while overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and compliance across the HR department.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the senior executive’s calendar, schedule meetings, speaking engagements and arrange domestic and international travel.
• Prioritise and triage matters requiring the executive’s attention, redirecting non‑essential items to appropriate staff.
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, including clients, regulators such as the SEC and NSE.
• Lead the HR department: recruit for stockbroking roles, oversee onboarding, employee engagement, performance appraisals and ensure compliance with Nigerian labour laws and financial‑sector regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in administrative, executive assistance or HR roles, preferably within financial services or stockbroking.
• Strong planning, time‑management and discretion when handling confidential information.
• Ability to adapt in a dynamic, regulatory‑driven environment.
