People & Administration Manager

About the role

TetradPay is seeking a proactive and organised People & Administration Manager to lead day‑to‑day HR and administrative operations in Lagos. Working closely with leadership, you will manage the employee lifecycle, strengthen HR processes and ensure the office runs efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage recruitment coordination, onboarding, probation reviews and employee exit processes.
• Maintain accurate, confidential personnel records, contracts and HR documentation.
• Develop, implement and maintain HR policies aligned with Nigerian labour requirements.
• Support managers with employee relations, attendance, grievances and disciplinary processes.
• Coordinate performance reviews, development plans and training activities.
• Lead employee engagement, wellbeing and internal communication initiatives.
• Track leave and attendance, and coordinate payroll inputs with Finance.
• Oversee office facilities, supplies, equipment and day‑to‑day administrative needs.
• Coordinate vendors, monitor service quality and track administrative expenses.
• Complete handover from the outgoing external HR provider, ensuring secure transfer of records.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HR, people operations and office administration, able to work independently.
• Strong knowledge of Nigerian labour laws and practical HR procedures.
• Experience in recruitment, onboarding, employee relations and performance management.
• Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritise competing demands.
• Clear written and verbal communication, sound judgement and discretion with confidential information.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace.
• Experience using HR systems (preferred).
