Head of Growth

About the role

This full‑stack growth leadership position will own the commercial engine of an ed‑tech startup, shaping brand strategy, GTM campaigns, B2B school partnerships and B2C user acquisition. Working closely with the founders, you will translate product vision into market leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Define and position the company’s value proposition for parents, school principals and students; plan and execute data‑driven GTM campaigns.
• Build and manage B2B pipelines targeting secondary schools and drive B2C subscriber acquisition through online and offline channels.
• Recruit, train and lead a junior sales team, setting KPIs, call targets and closing goals.
• Oversee social media strategy across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X and WhatsApp; run and optimise paid campaigns (Meta Ads, Google Ads) to keep CAC low.
• Conduct live product demos for school boards and parent groups; gather feedback to inform product development.

Required profile

• 4+ years of full‑stack commercial experience in marketing, sales and digital growth, preferably in EdTech or SaaS.
• Proven track record building B2B institutional deals and managing sales teams.
• Hands‑on mindset able to switch between strategy and execution (ad copywriting, outreach, demos).
• Deep knowledge of the Nigerian secondary‑school landscape and exam‑related buying dynamics.
