About the role
The Head of Financial Control will lead the finance and accounting function, shaping strategy, overseeing reporting, budgeting and regulatory compliance for the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Define and execute finance and accounting strategy across the company.
- Prepare, monitor and control departmental budgets.
- Produce financial statements, balance sheets, shareholder reports and tax returns.
- Represent the company before financial, governmental and regulatory authorities.
- Develop policies and standards to optimise resource utilisation.
- Supervise fund investments and coordinate with banks or investment bankers to raise capital.
- Ensure compliance with capital‑market reporting, audit and regulatory requirements.
Required profile
- BSc/HND in Accounting or a finance‑related discipline.
- Chartered Accountant qualification (mandatory).
- MBA or professional certifications such as MCIB, ACIB (preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior finance role within a financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and taxation.

What we offer
- Competitive salary ranging from NGN 500,000 to NGN 600,000 per month.
