Guest Services Officer

About the role

The Guest Services Officer will be the face of a prestigious luxury hotel on Victoria Island, Lagos, delivering world‑class experiences from arrival to departure. This role requires a polished, service‑oriented professional who can anticipate guest needs and create memorable moments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personalized, seamless service to guests throughout their stay.
• Promptly attend to guest requests, inquiries, and concerns, ensuring full satisfaction.
• Anticipate needs and proactively offer solutions.
• Coordinate with all hotel departments to maintain service excellence.
• Handle feedback and resolve complaints professionally and swiftly.
• Promote hotel facilities, services, and experiences.
• Maintain accurate guest records while upholding confidentiality and professionalism.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years experience in Guest Services, Front Office, or Customer Relations within a reputable hotel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Professional appearance, poise, and confidence.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑management abilities.
• Exceptional problem‑solving and complaint‑resolution capabilities.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure.
• HND/B.Sc. in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Commitment to excellence and meticulous attention to detail.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office
• Hotel management system (experience with any major PMS is an advantage)
