Guest Experience Expert

About the role

Protea Hotels by Marriott is hiring a Guest Experience Expert in Owerri, Nigeria. The role goes beyond simple check-in and check-out: it is about building a memorable and unique guest experience. The expert takes the initiative to deliver a wide range of services that guide guests through their entire stay.

Key responsibilities

• Process operational needs and address guest requests
• Complete reports and share the highlights of the local area
• Assist guests with loading and unloading vehicles
• Transport luggage to and from guest rooms and/or the designated bell area
• Follow company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality and protect company assets
• Uphold quality standards and keep a professional appearance and communication style

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred
• No related work experience required
• No supervisory experience required
• Ability to stand, sit or walk for long periods and move through narrow, confined or elevated spaces and up and down stairs and service ramps
• Able to lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds without assistance and 100 pounds with assistance, and to reach overhead and below the knees
