Group Head, Productions

About the role

Coinbox Limited is looking for a Group Head, Productions based in Victoria Island, Lagos. The role oversees all production activities, covering planning, quality control, resource allocation, budget management and timely project delivery. It reports to the Managing Director and requires strong leadership, production expertise and cross-departmental coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop production plans, schedules and strategies to ensure timely project delivery.
• Lead, supervise and coordinate production teams, set performance targets and promote accountability and professional development.
• Maintain quality standards, ensure compliance with operational and safety procedures and prevent production errors.
• Prepare and manage budgets, control costs, optimise resources and coordinate procurement and vendor performance.
• Collaborate with Commercial Business Operations, Marketing, Finance, Administration and other departments.
• Improve production processes, introduce innovative tools and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Monitor production performance, prepare reports, identify risks and recommend actions to the Managing Director.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or HND in Production Management, Creative Arts, Media Production, Operations Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Over 7 years of production and creative industry experience, including at least 5 years in a senior production management role.
• Proven experience managing large-scale projects, teams, budgets and multiple deliverables.
• Experience in entertainment, media, events, film, advertising or related creative industries is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant production or project management tools.
• Excellent organisational skills, commercial awareness and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
