Graduate Intern – Food Safety (One-year Internship)

About the role

Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (MPN) is offering a one‑year graduate internship focused on food safety within its catering operations. The role provides hands‑on experience in ensuring the quality and safety of food served at Exxon Mobil facilities in Bonny, Rivers State.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor catering activities to detect and prevent potential safety hazards.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, local food safety regulations, hygiene standards and contractual agreements.
• Maintain accurate records, update catering trackers for equipment, supplies and menus.
• Conduct quality inspections of food, water and related supplies.
• Assist in analysing customer feedback to identify trends and improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science (minimum 2nd class upper) in Agriculture, Biochemistry, Biology, Chemistry, Health Sciences, Hotel Management, or Food Science/Technology.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Completed National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) within the past two years.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
