Golang (Go) Backend Engineer

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Golang Backend Engineer to join an e‑hailing platform. You will design, build, and maintain high‑performance, concurrent distributed systems and cloud‑native applications.

Key responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, testable Go code and develop reusable packages and microservices.
• Design and implement highly concurrent, distributed architectures using goroutines, channels and other Go primitives.
• Build, secure and maintain RESTful APIs and high‑performance gRPC services.
• Integrate and optimise SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases, writing complex queries.
• Containerise applications with Docker and Kubernetes and implement observability using Prometheus or OpenTelemetry.
• Implement unit and integration testing, CI/CD pipelines and ensure production‑grade reliability.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong Golang backend development.
• Proven experience designing and building distributed, scalable backend systems.
• Deep understanding of Go concurrency primitives (goroutines, channels, mutexes).
• Strong knowledge of relational database design, indexing and performance tuning.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure, modern DevOps practices and automated testing.
