IT Auditor

About the role

The client is seeking a detail‑oriented IT Auditor to assess the effectiveness, reliability and security of the organization’s information systems and technology processes. The role involves evaluating IT controls, identifying technology risks, ensuring regulatory compliance and recommending improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audits across infrastructure, applications, networks and cloud environments.
• Assess IT General Controls, application controls, cybersecurity safeguards and access controls.
• Identify technology risks and control gaps, recommending practical mitigation measures.
• Assess compliance with standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, NDPR, COBIT, COSO and ITIL.
• Prepare comprehensive audit reports and communicate findings to IT teams, management and senior stakeholders.
• Participate in risk and control self‑assessments and support remediation activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Accounting or a related field.
• Three to six years of experience in IT auditing, IT risk management or information security.
• Strong analytical skills, high integrity and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication, documentation and report‑writing abilities.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IT frameworks such as COBIT, COSO, ISO 27001 and ITIL.
• Practical audit experience across cloud environments (AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform), applications, networks and cybersecurity.
• Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure and regulatory compliance standards.
