GM Aftersales Manager

About the role

CIG Motors is looking for a General Manager for its Aftersales business in Victoria Island. The GM Aftersales Workshop manages the profitability and performance of the aftersales business covering service, parts, warranty and customer support, ensuring workshops run efficiently, meet monthly revenue targets and deliver excellent customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Drive revenue from aftersales operations (service, parts, body shop) and monitor profitability through cost analysis and margin review
• Oversee daily operations of service centres and workshops nationwide, ensuring manufacturer standards, diagnostic procedures and HSE compliance
• Manage warranty claims and ensure timely submission and recovery from OEMs
• Improve customer satisfaction, CSI and FTFR targets, handle escalated complaints and run loyalty programmes, recalls and service clinics
• Lead and develop service managers, technicians and support staff, and coordinate training
• Work with the Parts Department on stock levels, order cycles and parts turnover
• Report regularly to the Executive Director and propose business development such as fleet contracts and extended service plans

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
• 10-15 years in automotive aftersales/service management, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
• Proven ability to manage multi-location workshops and grow revenue consistently

Required skills

• Strong understanding of vehicle diagnostics, OEM service standards and workshop management systems
• Excellent financial acumen, reporting and analytical skills
• Leadership, communication and stakeholder management
