General Manager – Superior Luxury Hotel

About the role

The General Manager will provide strategic leadership and overall operational oversight for a superior luxury hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, operational excellence, profitability, and brand reputation. Reporting to ownership, the GM will direct all hotel departments and drive the property’s performance to international luxury standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans aligned with the hotel’s vision, goals, and profitability targets.
• Oversee daily operations across Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Facilities, Security, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Human Resources.
• Ensure compliance with luxury hospitality standards and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain world‑class guest service, handle VIP guests, escalated complaints, and special requests.
• Manage budgets, forecasts, and financial performance indicators such as ADR, RevPAR, and occupancy.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to increase occupancy, revenue, and brand positioning.
• Lead, motivate, and develop departmental heads and staff, fostering a culture of professionalism and accountability.
• Uphold brand standards through regular quality audits and service enhancement programs.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior leader in luxury hotel operations.
• Strong business acumen with a track record of achieving profitability and growth targets.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multi‑departmental teams and drive a culture of service excellence.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
