Full Stack Product Engineer

About the role

Famasi Limited is looking for a Full Stack Product Engineer to build products from the ground up, working across frontend and backend to ship features quickly while keeping quality high. The role covers the 3P products (Patients, Pharmacies and Providers) on web and mobile, ensuring they run efficiently, meet user needs and scale as the business grows. The position is remote, with a strong preference for candidates based in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to build and improve product experiences for customers.
• Build and maintain frontend and backend features across the Patients, Pharmacies and Providers products.
• Ensure high performance, efficiency and scalability of applications.
• Improve team culture, processes and development standards.
• Maintain a consistent shipping velocity to meet product goals and timelines.

Required profile

• 2+ years of software development experience across frontend and backend.
• Demonstrated evidence of working with a team and of shipping live products, with at least one still in use.
• Experience in a fast-paced, iterative environment; strong problem-solving skills, especially on performance and scalability issues.
• High agency, sense of urgency and curiosity.

Required skills

• JavaScript, TypeScript and Node.js; React for frontend and Express.js or similar for backend.
• CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• React Native is recommended but not mandatory.
• Bonus: healthcare experience, Docker and Kubernetes, testing tools such as Jest.
