Frontend Developer – UI/UX Rockstar

About the role

Zap Africa, a leading Nigerian cryptocurrency exchange, is seeking a creative Frontend Developer to build user‑centric web and mobile interfaces. You will work closely with designers and backend engineers to deliver seamless, high‑performance experiences for our growing FinTech platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive, user‑friendly interfaces for web and mobile applications.
• Translate design mockups into functional code while integrating backend services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well‑documented code following best practices.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability under heavy traffic.
• Stay current with frontend technologies and continuously improve UI/UX.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend issues collaboratively.
• Participate in team meetings, share insights, and contribute to shared goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience as a Frontend Developer.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver with a passion for high‑quality code.

Required skills

• HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Angular or Vue.js.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and GraphQL.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
