Frontend Developer – Build Web Front‑End for Payment Solutions

About the role

Accelerex, a leading licensed provider of electronic payments and fintech solutions in Nigeria, is looking for a Frontend Developer to design and maintain the web interface of its backend services. You will work on creating modern, responsive user experiences that support a wide range of payment channels.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement visually appealing, responsive user interfaces.
• Identify, debug, and resolve front‑end issues to ensure smooth functionality.
• Write and maintain end‑to‑end tests to verify code behavior.
• Document code and keep technical documentation up to date.
• Audit existing code for performance bottlenecks and optimise where necessary.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Engineering, Sciences or related field.
• At least one year of professional experience as a software developer.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and teamwork orientation.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Angular framework.
• Strong knowledge of TypeScript.
• Experience creating cross‑browser compatible CSS.
• Understanding of RxJS for reactive programming.
• Familiarity with Cypress and testing libraries for front‑end testing.
• Fundamental knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
