Fractional Fundraising Associate (Chartered Accountant)

About the role

Total Infotech & Telecoms Limited (TITL) is looking for a young, ambitious, commercially minded Chartered Accountant to work directly with the Founder/CEO in a fractional, part-time, performance-based capacity. The role supports financial modelling, investment readiness, investor research and fundraising for designated ventures in its portfolio. It is not a conventional accounting position: the main aim is to find investors and funding opportunities, prepare credible investment materials, initiate investor relationships and help secure external investment. The work is hybrid, with mandatory weekly physical meetings in Lagos.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and research angel investors, VC firms, private equity, family offices, accelerators, DFIs and strategic partners, match them to ventures, and track grants and non-dilutive opportunities.
• Maintain an investor database and make targeted investor lists for each venture.
• Contact prospects via email, LinkedIn and networks, introduce TITL's model and opportunities, arrange meetings and escalate negotiations and binding commitments to the Founder/CEO.
• Prepare financial models (revenue, cash flow, unit economics, break-even, funding runway), scenarios, valuations and due-diligence documentation.
• Build pitch decks, investment memoranda, funding proposals and summaries, and help set up data rooms.
• Use AI tools such as ChatGPT and Claude to speed up research, models and presentations, always verifying facts and protecting confidential data.
• Attend a weekly in-person review in Lagos and submit a written fundraising report each week.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA).
• Strong research, communication, presentation and execution skills.
• Comfortable talking to senior executives and investors; candidates with limited fundraising experience but strong analytical ability are encouraged.
• Organised and dependable, able to meet weekly reporting obligations.

Required skills

• Advanced practical use of ChatGPT and Claude, with independent verification of all outputs.
• Financial modelling and financial statements.
• Pitch deck and PowerPoint presentation creation.
